This year will be different but that won’t stop us from building connections and learning with our students💚
Alexandra Lyons has to welcome her students virtually, not what the first-year teacher had in mind.
"I want to see them face-to-face," Lyons said. "I'm already decorating my classroom and everything, but there will be no kids there with me, sadly." kens5.com/article/news/educa…

My 13 year old daughter has talked for several years about how much she loved her 5th grade teacher. I asked her what she liked about her. Her response: “She liked US!” So simple… yet so profound. Kids gravitate to the teachers that like them. They can tell.
