In a trial of the BNT162b2 vaccine, subjects received two doses of vaccine or placebo 21 days apart. In 36,523 subjects with no evidence of prior #SARSCoV2 infection, there were 8 cases of #COVID19 in vaccine recipients and 162 cases with placebo, for a vaccine efficacy of 95%.
