Metal Archives Mobile App

Finally I can make it just in time for Christmas. Submitted to TestFlight today and got approved hours later. Though there's still work to do, I decide to go beta to get early feedback while working on last features. testflight.apple.com/join/tP…

Get back to work on a new update for @ma_mobile_app after abandoning it for almost a year. The good thing is I got enough time to learn the basic of Swift concurrency to use in this project. And with SwiftUI 3.0, this version will have a longer lifespan than the previous 🍝 one.

Every time I read these kind of review, it makes me happy and guilty. The app hasn't changed for years. Several months ago I began working on the new version with completely new and modern UI but life happens and the project is just 40% done. I'll try to finish it this year.

My @ma_mobile_app now has more than 600 ratings 🤘

I decided to make @ma_mobile_app dark mode only. Because #metal is dark 😎. Band detail page WIP 👇

As I'm a bit fed up with writing business logic code, I decide to make the Settings page for @ma_mobile_app. It took me a day or so with #SwiftUI. I don't even want to think about how to make such page in #UIKit. Just boring and tedious.

I'm rewriting @ma_mobile_app from scratch in SwiftUI 2.0 so I take the chance to renew the app icon. I asked for help from my users and @nrthrndarkness came up with a great one. I'm so happy with it 🤘. Old icon vs new icon side by side 👇
