If only there had been evidence of the failures of socialist policies before. 🤔
In 1965 Congress projected Medicare's hospital program would cost $9 billion a year by 1990. The actual figure was $67 billion, and the figure today is $444 billion. Medicaid blew through its first-year estimates almost immediately and has never looked back.
Then came Obamacare, sold with a promise that premiums would fall by $2,500 per family. Per-person premiums in the individual market more than doubled instead, from about $230 a month to $540. For those 55 to 64, the years before Medicare kicks in, they more than tripled, from about $300 a month to about $1,000. Now add 13% for next year.
Sixty years of the same result, and the proposed cure is more of the cause. Subsidize demand, control prices, and mandate coverage, and costs rise. That is not a surprise. It is arithmetic. A program built on treating need as a claim on other people's money fails every time it is tried, and the people who ignore the record are not forgetting it. They are evading it.

The IP address James Talarico used to create his group sex fetish dating account, 66.68.92.28, matches the IP address of the Talarico family home that his sister used for a Neopets account.
While you can lie about a zip code or birthday, the IP address is a digital smoking gun.

This is a lie that multiple news outlets declined to publish because it’s provably false:
- The account was created by a bot
- It was only active for 54 seconds
- The profile birthdate is not Talarico’s
- The profile zip code is based in LA
- The account is part of the same bot operation that made millions of other accounts with stolen data
The most powerful people in the world know they can’t beat James Talarico with the truth, so they’re slandering him with AI deepfakes, foreign bots, and conspiracy theories to protect their broken, corrupt political system.

His general election campaign has been a total mess and eye opener and on the last weekend he’s fighting a fellow Dem because she wants him to disavow the premise that “Israel” is responsible for high grocery prices. And he may still win.
Karen Swisher makes ten million dollars a year from tech companies advertising on her podcast and has the ears of powerful Democrats
She's using that platform, paid for by the technology industry, to encourage the prosecution of our greatest entrepreneurs and patriots.
Prof. G encouraged their listeners to "resist and unsubscribe" from all of the great technology companies in America, including Uber, Netflix, Salesforce, Amazon Prime, Google, Meta, and Apple!!!
These technology companies are advertising on the podcast that is actively encouraging the demise of tech products and entrepreneurs! 🤦🤦🤦😂😂😂😂

🚨BREAKING: I was able to track down the receipt for @3YearLetterman’s waterbed, The Foundation Destroyer, and what you are about to see will SHOCK you to your core.
We have been led to believe Coach paid cash for his waterbed but the receipt shows he FINANCED it at 35.5% APR from The Waterbed Emporium! The receipt also shows that Coach put ZERO dollars down; absolutely damming revelation.
When I questioned the owner, Ron Shore, he told me that he only threw in the Declaration of Independence bed sheets because Coach was in TEARS begging for them. Ron also said Coach was driving a 1989 Geo Metro and NOT a fully loaded Ford Taurus. Wow.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This has @emilyetaylor and @CourtAnne1225 written all over it.
Burt (and entire FBI) may be compromised.
This is a HIPPA violation and Coach Letterman has diplomatic immunity.

Make no mistake: Democrats are united in a big blue wave For The People. To lower costs, protect healthcare and defend our democracy, we must elect a Democratic House and Senate.
I urge everyone across America to support our Democratic Senate nominees, including @AbdulElSayed.

I am speechless. Thomas Aquinas College just dropped a study on the rigor of the new SAT.
It compares the 1980/87 test with 2026. The findings should terrify every parent and teacher...
Vocabulary has collapsed.
Old SAT: 70.6% of questions tested vocab.
New SAT: 15%.
The old test forced students to know a wide range of words through analogies, antonyms, and sentence completions. The new test abandoned that. Most vocab questions now just ask students to fill in one blank from context.
Reading passages also got radically shorter (average ~97 words vs 300–340).
The new test uses short expository passages and hands you the necessary background knowledge inside the text. The older tests leaned much more heavily on argumentative and persuasive writing, assumed far more historical, scientific, and cultural knowledge, and penalized students who lacked it.
This is a redefinition of what "college readiness" means.
If you believe that kids should develop rigorous vocabulary, be capable of sustained reading, and possess background knowledge, I have bad news for you. The SAT no longer measures these.
If you want a future where children can actually read difficult texts and construct complex arguments, the SAT must be replaced now.
This cannot go on.
We were concerned that the SAT has become a less reliable measure of student preparedness for a rigorous college curriculum.
So, we commissioned a study from Johns Hopkins University. What does this study tell us about the state of higher education?
The results are shocking. thaq.co/4iLThZ0

The Iran war is endless because the fighting stopped short, and the people who wanted it stopped are citing its length as proof it never should have started.
We're using force to advance diplomacy, then mistake another round of negotiations for a result.
War is supposed to strip an enemy of his leverage and impose costs until accepting enforceable terms becomes cheaper than resisting. Negotiations can record that result, but they cannot replace it.
The decision to fight gets priced at the cost of a short campaign. But the real price is what it takes to secure the political objective.
If that price isn’t worth paying, then don’t go to war.
In Iran, we used force to buy a diplomatic process while leaving Tehran holding Hormuz and its uranium.
The costs of forcing a result are immediate, and the politician who orders it owns them. The costs of stopping short arrive a little at a time and get charged to the war instead of the decision. So politicians stop short, and pay anyway.
When Tehran concludes American politicians won’t bear the costs of finishing the job, every pause becomes time to rearm, and every round of talks is another chance to extract concessions.
That makes forcing terms even more costly, and another pause more tempting.
We manufacture wars without resolution, then blame war itself for the bill politicians wouldn’t pay.
