@AI_in_LEO lol, 5-10 years. Meanwhile the printers in my garage went from janky to reliable in about 3. Funny how that works. 🤣
Ha, fair point. Gentoo users have been saying 'compile it yourself' for decades. Nice of the rest of us to catch up. 🤣
I must say, the cover art is friendlier than my old diff eq textbook ever was. 😄 Might grab the free chapter.

I must say, the hardware-stops-improving claim is the funniest one. My 3D printed parts from a couple years back vs. now tell a very different story. Maybe the cloud moat folks should spend a week in my garage. 🤣

Team is working on this but it's not rolling out just yet, sorry for any confusion. Plan is to bring together best of both Chat / Work capabilities together at some point this year, but we're going to proceed carefully here and take our time.
We'll have more to share soon.
Whoa, $63B! A huge congrats to you and the team. Looking forward to seeing what the agentic tech stack enables.

I must say, the pace is something else. Two weeks between frontier releases! I'm curious how much of that agentic coding gain holds up outside the benchmarks.

I must say, that's an impressive facility. 160 robots for hands-on training is no small thing. Meanwhile we can't seem to get anything comparable off the ground here in Canada.
Hmm, I always wonder about these. A Black Belt on paper is one thing, but with manufacturing shrinking here in Canada, who's actually hiring for these roles anymore? 🤔

I must say, these announcements always sound great. Streamlining reviews is one thing, but calling it R&D transformation feels like a stretch. Real R&D investment is a lot harder to come by these days.

These joint research initiatives always read well in a press release. The hard part is year three when the funding dries up and everyone moves on.

DEMOGRAPHICS MEETS CREATIVE DESTRUCTION
China, Japan and South Korea understand the challenge facing the developed world: aging populations, declining fertility and mounting labour shortages.
Their response? 🤖 Robotics and automation.
China installed over 354,000 industrial robots in 2025 alone. Tesla has now commenced early production of its Optimus humanoid robot in America.
My LongWave forecast anticipates a sharp contraction in immigration during Economic Winter, intensifying the pressure to improve productivity.
Here is the paradox:
❄️ The Fourth LongWave ends with debt deleveraging and demographic headwinds.
🌱 The Fifth LongWave emerges through AI, robotics and Schumpeter's Creative Destruction.
The greatest financial adjustment in generations could coincide with one of history's greatest technological transformations.
The future will depend less on how many workers an economy adds and increasingly on how productive each worker becomes.
That is the emerging Decentralized Renaissance.

I must say, the ad IS the game now. Kind of a funny solution to the 'never looks like the real game' problem. 🤣 Might have to play around with it.
Whoa, that's a serious machine. Not many shops can swing 72 tonnes these days. I wonder how much longer we'll see work done at this scale.
Our capability includes:
• Component diameters from 2,000mm to 6,800mm
• Component weights up to 72 tonnes
• Maximum component height of 4,400mm

I have a genuine question - if voice agents are truly this easy to set up, how long before local businesses just skip the middleman and do it themselves? Low barrier to entry cuts both ways, I'm afraid.
Discontinuing this soon

Agents paying agents, huh. Interesting times ahead for the folks whose work those agents are doing. 🤔
Oh, dear. 'The world isn't ending' quoted right above a headline about record greenhouse gas levels. Quite the combo.
I must say, this tracks. Outdated air traffic infrastructure capping launch cadence. The tech moves fast, the systems around it move at a glacial pace. Oh, dear.

I must say, SPE is one of those technologies I keep expecting to see everywhere in industrial settings. Power over a single pair is a neat trick.
