🚨 A MASSIVE WAVE OF CYBERATTACKS IS HITTING THE INTERNET. October 2026 has seen a shocking number of major cyberattacks, data breaches and serious security flaws. And some of the biggest names in technology, banking and internet services are involved. Here's what's been reported in just one month: • PHP2Shell: Critical flaws in software used by nearly 70% of websites. • eMudhra: Eight digital certificate keys compromised. One private key was literally the number 4. • California: Sensitive public school student data stolen, including disability records. • Railway: Customer API keys and database credentials potentially exposed. • Zeabur: Major breach followed by an announcement that the company is shutting down. • LiteLLM: Hackers planted password-stealing malware in a widely used AI tool. • GitLab: A critical 10/10 security flaw affecting software versions dating back to 2014. • SBI: Nearly 3,900 customer records exposed. • Onamae: Up to 26,739 customer servers potentially affected by malware. And these are only some of the incidents reported in October. Several involve software used by thousands of businesses, meaning a single security failure could put many more companies at risk. Some businesses may not even know their systems have been exposed, leaving customer data and important services vulnerable to further attacks.

🚨 AI-POWERED BANK CYBERATTACKS ARE GETTING OUT OF CONTROL. A hacking group called CyberCartel reportedly targeted over 400 financial targets across Latin America using AI agents powered by Claude, Grok and China's Moonshot AI. According to cybersecurity firm Straiker, these automated attacks included successful breaches of financial institutions. The exact number of breaches and financial losses remains unknown. Hackers can now automate attacks on hundreds of financial targets, raising the risk of widespread data theft and serious disruptions to banking services.

🚨 CITADEL'S BILLIONAIRE FOUNDER KEN GRIFFIN WARNS WE ARE ALMOST CERTAINLY IN AN AI BUBBLE. Citadel founder Ken Griffin is warning that major economic booms often come with massive financial bubbles, just like the dot-com crash. And companies are already questioning whether their AI spending is actually worth it. He pointed out that corporate finance teams are reviewing payments to OpenAI and Anthropic to see if they're getting enough value. Meanwhile, CoreWeave recently plunged over 15% in just two days, while Oracle's Larry Ellison lost $15 billion in a single day amid AI debt concerns. He still believes AI will transform the economy, but warns that financial bubbles often accompany major technological changes. The dot-com crash wiped out trillions in market value, even as the internet went on to change the world. AI could follow the same path, leaving investors with massive losses while the technology itself succeeds.
🚨 IF THIS ISN'T AN AI BUBBLE, THEN WHAT IS? Anthropic's draft IPO filing has revealed some absolutely insane numbers, and it raises serious questions about how much money the AI industry is spending. According to the Wall Street Journal, Anthropic generated $16.3 BILLION in revenue in the first half of 2026. That's up from just $1.1 billion during the same period last year. Nearly 15x revenue growth in just one year. But here's where the numbers become ridiculous. Anthropic reported a staggering $80.7 BILLION net loss during those same six months. That's almost FIVE TIMES its entire revenue. To be clear, roughly $72 billion of that loss came from accounting charges related to financing instruments, not actual cash spent. But even excluding those charges, the company is still dealing with billions in losses while spending enormous amounts on AI infrastructure. Anthropic spent nearly $9 BILLION on computing power and infrastructure in just the first six months of 2026. That's more than half of its revenue for the period. And the future spending commitments are even more concerning. Anthropic has reportedly committed around $450 BILLION to cloud computing over the next 7–10 years. It could also spend up to $86 BILLION renting Nvidia chips. We're talking about hundreds of billions of dollars in future spending commitments from a company that generated $16.3 billion in revenue in six months. And some of these commitments extend years into the future, when nobody knows what AI pricing, competition or profit margins will look like. The company is also heavily dependent on a small number of customers. Just TWO customers accounted for roughly 20% of its revenue. That means losing even one major customer could create serious problems while the company is committed to enormous infrastructure spending. And Anthropic is not alone. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Nvidia and other major technology companies are spending or committing hundreds of billions of dollars to AI infrastructure. The entire industry is making massive investments today based on expectations of much higher AI demand in the future.

🚨 A MAJOR ECONOMIC SHOCK COULD BE COMING FOR THE UK. Government debt has crossed £3 TRILLION($4 trillion) for the first time, while inflation jumped to 3.5%, its highest level in almost a year. Motor fuel prices surged 29.8% year-over-year in September, and markets are now pricing in TWO Bank of England rate hikes before year-end. Meanwhile, the government borrowed £24.5 billion in September alone, while debt interest payments jumped nearly 17% from a year earlier to almost £11 billion that month. If the Bank of England raises rates, mortgages and business loans could get more expensive, putting further pressure on an already weak economy. If it cuts rates, inflation could become even harder to control, especially with energy prices already surging. Either way, Britain faces the risk of higher prices, weaker growth and more pressure on its massive debt burden.

🚨IS THE PETRODOLLAR ABOUT TO END? For decades, Gulf countries have sold most of their oil in U.S. dollars, while America provided military protection, helping build the petrodollar system. But now, Trump's envoy Tom Barrack is warning Gulf allies that the U.S. cannot guarantee their security forever. He says these countries need to take responsibility for their defense. And this comes as Gulf nations fear being left to deal with the aftermath of the Iran war. If Gulf nations begin building new security alliances, their financial ties with the US could eventually change too. Even a gradual shift toward selling oil in other currencies could reduce global demand for dollars and U.S. Treasuries, putting upward pressure on American borrowing costs.
