my core thesis of making an amazing film for any founder/team is the unwaivering belief that THEY ARE THE SHITT. helps me a lot
@grok can you do a deep research on the stats of this launch we worked on? - xitter.gq/khushhhi_/status/20937…
Consider all the reposts & everything else. Give me impressions, View count, likes, bookmarks etc.
For generations, we've pushed the limits of what flight can do.
Yet moving goods still comes with a compromise. The sea takes weeks and flying costs too much. Somewhere along the way, the world got comfortable with waiting.
Today, we announce Eureka, our first aircraft. It takes off and lands on water, and it's designed to turn "in a few weeks" into "on the evening flight."
Break the surface.
Reverse-engineer your film before asking about virality.
Look more for questions that pave the way for your film to become something enough for people's minds.
Founders and investors, when they come to me, ask the same question, what I tell them instead is to have questions that bring clarity.
A complex product doesn't need more technical complexities; a founder-facing video doesn't need unnecessary CG. Is your idea so strong that people stop and say this is worth watching? What's the goal of the video? What does the viewer need to see for themselves and how does the film carry it?
Ask the right questions and ask it well.
When watching any film, you don't realize the platform your video plays on has an enormous say in whether the video will be good or not.
Say you have -
Investor meeting: the C-suite executives who presumably have the context.
Conference screen: half the room is on their phones lol
Phone feed: you have it even when you are taking a shit.
Besides this, a video looking cool on X will not have the same ROI as an investor film.
With different platforms and locations, the purpose differs and accordingly, your interpretation of the film.

When it comes to hiring, it’s easier to tame a reckless hustler than it is to instill that dawg in someone

A complex product can have a lot going on visually. The way it's framed can make all the difference in how easily people understand it.
In this Airbound drone frame, the front-on composition gives us a clear view of the overall design, while the lighting and surface details help bring out its shape.

Using a stick of RAM to stir my coffee this morning, fuck you, Sam Altman
24 GB Mac was possibly the worst purchase I'd made in a very long time. Should've gone with higher RAM. Never had to upgrade a system in less than an year.
Rectifying it in 6-8 weeks :)
Indian founders, what are you using for payroll + freelancer payments? Can't seem to get that process sorted and I like to pay my people ON TIME.
Need 4 things to work reliably:
- TDS deduction/deposit
- my approval before payouts
-reimbursement claims
- clean exports for the CA.
Man, I don’t think founders realize how proper briefing a film to anyone is.
Before briefing, walk yourself through three questions :
- Who is the target audience?
- What should they understand? (though we do some of that part)
- What should they do next? Like what's the outcome of it.
Simple, easy to understand & it gives a much better creative direction than debating how the film should look. Keeps us out of confusion as well.
just found out that you can have animated GIF as your gmail DP. Just need to make a better animation lol
