Legend has it the ball is still moving from the free kick.
When Zidane turned everything around in 180 seconds of injury time. From falling behind to becoming the group champion. An unforgettable night in Euro 2004 🇫🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Do you remember this match?

Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks. Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.

Sharp depreciation in sterling, rapid rises in inflation, gilt yields & cost of living is rising. You know what this means, don't you. Something is breaking / a major economic squeeze is developing & the UK really is dallying on the edge of total fiscal crisis!!
🚨NEW: Chancellor John Healey's team claims that he and Andy Burnham didn't realise how bad Britain's fiscal position was before they got inside the Treasury [@FT]

England talked about like an elite international side yet. Best win in FIFA rankings is against 7th-ranked Netherlands at Euro 2024. Never beaten a Top 5 team at a World Cup or Euros. Ranked in the world’s top 5 for years. Elite hype. Little evidence against elite opponents.

Congrats to Rory on back to back Masters titles. Will this end talk of “golf-specific training”? Of course not. Here’s the thing…the weight room isn’t where you practice golf. It’s where you build the physical qualities that drive overall OUTPUT & CAPACITY. More force

A lot of what gets called innovative now is just old training with better marketing. Different language or packaging, but same underlying ideas. That doesn’t mean every old method was perfect. It means good coaches have been solving the same problems for a long time…how to

New research compared lower limb kinetics between sprinters and team sport athletes at max speed. The difference wasn’t just force output, but where the work got done. Sprinters generated more torque and power at the ankle. Team sport athletes relied more on the hip and

Return-to-Play decisions are still based on timelines. Injury → MRI → 16 days → back to play. But muscle velocity of contraction is the last to recover. So… are we clearing athletes too early? linkedin.com/posts/jure-jeme… #SportsMedicine #HamstringInjury
