The crime is classified as particularly aggravated assault - one of Sweden’s most serious charges. And the evidence doesn’t stop there: The mother is also charged with beating another child. The father is charged with assaulting two more children, kicking one so hard the child fell, and pushing another to the ground and kicking them again, one case rising to child endangerment.
