In light of recent ao3 related events, I have stumbled upon a website that I think authors need to be made aware of. The website ao3 [DOT] life has been scraping and downloading fics published to ao3 for who knows how long. 🧵

Just like us, rua also has an image of the person he wants to become. Personally, I think it’s more fun to see him explore and experiment with his appearance (hairstyles and everything else). I want to see all the different sides of rua.

UPDATE on ao3(.)life: OTW is aware of the site and is already taking action. They’ve asked people NOT to send personal information, and they do not need additional reports about this right now — more reports may only bog things down. reddit.com/r/AO3/comments/1x…

PLEASE, fellow authors, don't just email the website asking for your fics to be removed. Document EVERYTHING. File DMCA takedown notices with the site's hosting provider, report copyright infringement to its registrar, and contact OTW Legal Advocacy.
