On that note, I think there is a far better solution to "playable characters never die in gachas", and kuro actually does it:
I really wanted Xuanqing to be a 4-Star dedicated support for Hsin.
But we ain't gonna have her.
BECAUSE SHE IS DEAD. SHE WON'T BE PLAYABLE BECAUSE SHE IS DEAD. BUT I WANT HER. BUT WE CAN'T HAVE HER.
AREN'T YOU HAPPY YOU FUCKS
People have this obsession with killing characters, thinking that it is good story telling, but I'd go as far as to say that death is actually bad storytelling more often than not, particularly when they are overdone.
Killing Aemeath (technically she is already dead but still) would simply kill all the emotional investment on the character. It is a lazy way of telling a story.
In a sense, the way she is written is quite a bit more tragic than death, and that is a constant throughout WuWa's story as a whole.
Rover fails to save others many, many, MANY times, over and over again. They either arrive too late and things are already over, or too late and things can't be fixed anymore, so they're heading towards an end he can't change. Even when he does fix most things, there are still lingering consequences.
Aemeath is another one of those cases. Sure, Rover does "save" her, but technically she is still dead.
Phrolova could have been saved far before she went bat shit crazy if Rover didn't wipe out their own memories.
More recently, The Sentinel Hsin wouldn't have died, nor would her resonator would have had to sacrifice herself with a second awakening. Yet, you can still interact with their remnants, one way or another. That makes for a much more compelling story than "oh welp they're dead now... anyway onto the next region!"
In a sense, the entire WuWa story is us going through the consequences of Rover wiping out their own memories and having to salvage what we can, and realizing that what Rover did caused immense pain to everyone around them, even if the reason they did it was completely justifiable, and they honestly shouldn't even be blamed by it.
Which is why no one resents them... beside Phrolova, but she was also unaware of why Rover did it, if I remember it right.
I mean, bro was facing the lament for millennia with no success, facing countless tragedies and bearing the weight of the world as a lone hero, without rest. If anything, they should be even more respected by deciding to wipe their own memories SO THAT HE COULD KEEP FIGHTING AGAINST IT.
If anything, Aemeath's fate now is even worse than death, because she is obsessed with being a hero and helping Rover shoulder the weight of the responsibility he carried for thousands of years. She will exist for as long as Rover does, and she will be forced to witness countless tragedies as a result. For a character as empathetic as Aemeath, who again, WANTS to be a hero, the amount of pain she will be forced to endure is unimaginable.
When you pay attention to WuWa's story, it is a far more tragic narrative than simply "killing everyone" could ever be. Surviving with what we have left, knowing that there is a threat so overwhelming that someone as powerful as Rover couldn't win against, is far more painful than simply letting it all go and embracing the peace of death.

Narrative wise, it's cool having 3 void hunters in a single season.
Meta wise... ARE YOU FUCKING BANANAS HOYO?

I guess the game doesn't matter. I can see what is going to happen already. I just know it in my gut. There is no escaping it. There is no escaping the 180 hard pity.

Do anyone even read tutorials in gacha games at this point?
They're so overdone for the most basic of shit I just can't be bothered.
It's either an obvious explanation for something a toddler would be able to figure out, or a complete dissertation on the technicalities of the mechanics, even though it makes no difference because all you need to do is press X two or three times and you're done.
At this point my theory is that they're just there to inflate the time people stay logged in to impress shareholders.
Bro, I just don't get this game.
It's always like this. I need to reach pity every single time for characters. I literally lose every 50/50 in every character banner.
Then, like always, I go like
"Eh, Iuno might never rerun again, let's do a 10 pull on her weapon banner because I like her feet—I mean because I like her character"
THEN BAM. THE WEAPON. IN 10 PULLS. AGAIN.
EVERY TIME.
On the one hand, I find it kinda funny cause this is the type of clothing that would DEFINITELY reveal anything it's supposed to hide at the first sign of an effort in a fight.
On the other hand... yes please do wear these in a fight 🙏🏻
Yes, it is definitely the W-Engine being showcased here

Whenever I return to Wuthering Waves, one of the first things I always do is replaying the Lorelei Echo Challenge.
One of the best experiences I had in gaming.
It doesn't look like much from the outside. It's not really challenging either.
Flying with Lorelei herself like this on her own invite, with no words said, is just memorable in and on itself.
