For all the people out there busy rebuilding networks right now, my cohost and mastodon links are in my profile.
There's "late" and then there's @amazon business "your 4am-8am delivery hasn't arrived by 8pm and we have no tracking and no updates" late.
TBF, Elmo's turd emoji response to all press was really a pretty accurate response to the question "what is the future of Twitter?"
"I've never seen a worse movie than Batman with Mr. Freeze"
"But you've seen The Room"
...
"No. Still worse. That would have been a better movie with Wiseau as Freeze. And Batman. And the rest of the cast."

One failed @UPS shipment: accidental incompetence. Two failed shipments in a row: intentional sabotage which makes me not want to support their pending strike. You're hurting your own labor argument here.
Been seeing a fair bit of Yang promotion lately. Here's the thing: he's a poison pill. He's currently suggesting a third party could be viable, when under our current first-past-the-post system it just *can't* no matter how much anyone wishes.
He also seems to be indirectly saying that the answer to AI ("automation") is to bend over and take it, and hopefully we can pass a basic income. While we *should* have UBI, that has to, at a minimum, be first. Also saying that *now* is a complete failure to read the room.
