A comment on FFP/PSR rules. They are anti-competitive, they should be changed so that a new owner can invest heavily for a period of time (at least 5 yrs) to build a competitive club. Endless owner funded losses should not be permitted.

Only just had chance to check the football scores. That’s surely Carrick gone. Feel kinda sorry for him but not for his shambles of a club, who put into sharp focus how disgusting the agenda against City is.

People can advance all the opinions they like about what Maresca should have done today but we have seen all this before with Pep. City actually dominate overall but individuals screw up and opponent takes its few chances and defends like demons.

Stupid defeat. Too many individual errors. Villa defended very well and Emery probably best manager in league now but we should not have lost that.

Not sure what to say about that other than a real spectacle. Plenty for City to build on. TNT praising PSG’s first hall rather too much: City should have scored 2 or 3 in that half but PSG so fast and fluid for sure. City can learn, take heart and move forward.

Just catching up with the pre-match pressers. Maresca again calm and affable. Dias showing exactly why he is captain.

I think you'll find there are plenty of fans ready to have a constructive argument over the issues, engage in a fair discussion and even not fully absolve City, until the process is over. It's not City fans that have gone to a full blown mania. Comparing us and our players with Ted Bundy ( actually seen this one ), acting like we've committed genocide, making us a pariah, asking for our players and fans to be hunted and assaulted in the media, stoking violence, making a spectacle out of accounting dealings which are so complex it takes years to unravel. It wasn't City fans that invited players who can't write their names in english on a piece of paper, discussing financial matters, or tax evaders talking about "cheating".
Having normal conversation how Man City have effect football with their cheating . What are the come backs - Heysel Red Cartel Is that all they have. Whats sad everton chiming in on Red Cartel etc, when they dont realise how much they have lost cos of City.

Saw Stevie Wonder last night for the first time in 54 years of gig going. Wish I’d not taken so long to do so but what a treat to see him play the whole of “Songs in the Key of Life” & its accompanying EP. 21 songs of quality & variety, plus a finale of “Superstition”. Magic.

The permeators of FFP, United for example are 1 billion in debt, a systemic failure on and off the pitch, with failing facilities, failing ownership and an astoundingly stupid fanbase who cannot galvanise to save their skin. Most of them are more than happy to point fingers and cry in hidden sordid corners of the internet rather than fully accept their own fault in their own failures. Like a teenager whose brain hasn't grown enough in order to use reason ahead of emotion. It's easy to point most anything at others, rather than looking inwards or even better at the grand scheme of things. City gave you all a target to point and laugh at, whilst you're all casually sitting on a boat on fire and sinking. Keep laughing and pointing. I'm 100% certain City's punishments will make certain clubs, revelant, financially stable, and winning on the pitch where the sport is being played. Oh wait.

Now just imagine if there was no FFP most of them would have gone to the wall trying to keep up with financial cheaters like yourselves This has proved it ya fkin mug

Twitter / X becoming almost intolerable. Even sticking to the Following tab, there is a constant stream of crap about City’s charges, most of which is pointless until the appeal and potentially court action have completed.

Man City haven’t ruined football. Man City haven’t ruined the premier league. Football and the Premier league has been ruined by a handful of teams who have too much say as to how the league is run. It’s been ruined by the Anti Competitive rules that have been put in place

Oh dear, City didn’t read the script. Hope that has pissed millions off. Maresca’s City are a bit different BTW.
