I’m a fan of seeing other artists preliminary art, so I figure you might be into it too! Here’s a double page spread layout from Invincible. You’ll see the layers of constructing composition and anatomy. It’s where most of the work comes into play, the motion and focus on characters, the acting etc. trying to get the most out of a splash page shot. After this step, it’s taking this digital layout and turning it into a traditionally pencilled and inked page. Check your Invincible books to compare to final image!
