A lot of people not being honest in this conversation. Yes y’all hate immigrants. Yes anti black tribalism goes in every direction. It’s not just Black Americans who are xenophobic to people from African nations. And yes yall are odd to assume it was a Black American who did it.

i’ll never forget telling my classmates in school that it made no sense making “african booty scratcher” jokes because we’re of african descent too since we’re black and having them look at me like i had seven heads…

Zendaya says there's one attractive quality about her husband that makes her jealous and impressed
Zendaya: "Something I am always impressed with Tom about, which I feel like I want to inherit more of, is he's very...
Tom Holland: "Awesome? legendary? talented?"
Zendaya: Yeah, so many great words...but you really stand on your big stickler for respect and kindness."
"Not to say that I'm not doing that, but you just make sure that is in the front."
"And then if that line is crossed, I think sometimes he's better at drawing boundaries and making things clear. And I'm a little bit more like, okay, guys, it's all right, everything's all right."
"You're good at being like, no, no, this is, we're not doing this. You're good at setting the boundaries when they need to be set. Really clearly, really strong."
"So I like that you have, you know what you feel is right for yourself, and you do it, and for others you're very protective in that way.

1990: Samuel Doe torture: Did you watch it on tape?
I still remember when NTA broke the news of his capture during his visit to the ECOMOG field base.
Doe was captured by rebel forces under the control of Prince Yormie Johnson.
Suddenly, video tapes of his capture and torture flooded the market, people started selling them in traffic, shops, filling stations, while a lot of people trooped to Alaba market to buy the tape while video clubs started renting them to members.
It became a hit, Nigerians wanted to see what happened to Liberian Head of State Staff Sergeant Samuel Doe.
I finally watched it at a friends place, because I know my parents, they would never bring such footage home for us to watch.
Instead my dad would buy Yul Brynner ‘The King and I’ or any of the James Bond 007 movies, while my mum would gladly go to Zabadne and buy Jesus of Nazareth and make us watch it.
The torture that Doe went through in the hands of Yormie Johnson and his boys was excruciating.
I never watched that tape again after the first time.
It was not for me
