Ignoring Haley and moving on with event was an option, and likely the smartest. Still he would face questions just as he will still face those same questions on Sunday.
What Haley did was poke one of the most fragile narcissistic vengeful person around. He cant stand when people don't bend the knee. The man has threatened the careers of even low level sate reps who respectfully endorsed his primary opponents. No one makes an ask of him. No one gives him advice. He lectures and tells you what you need.

It actually is very hard. What are we doing people. Abdul is antisemitic. He grew up and was welcomed amongst a loving Jewish community, but he also grew up amongst family members who instilled in him this ancient blood feud. He picked a side a long time ago, so now it is our turn. If elected, Jewish safety will not only get worse in Michigan but across the country.
I’m not allowed to discuss the senate race with my sister because she lost her mind the day after the primary when I told her I was leaving blank. Damn, I would LOVE to throw it in her face about now. She voted already too.

Representative Haley Stevens is a courageous leader who deserves the respect of every Michigan voter. She has conducted herself with nothing but class since the Democratic primary, a primary where a majority of voters did not vote for her party’s nominee.
She was absolutely right to call on Abdul El-Sayed to denounce the Rebellion PAC ad and she was right to call on him to apologize for espousing the same hateful ideology behind it.
Representative Stevens’ statement expressed a hope that Abdul El-Sayed “had heard the deep concerns of the Jewish Community.” It is as shameful as it is disappointing that his response to her clearly shows that he does not care about those concerns.
In her statement, the Congresswoman says, “ the Jewish and African-American communities of my district deserve to have someone show up for them, rather than fight over them.”
I agree with her and my campaign is about being there, showing up and defending these communities and all Michiganders.

West Bloomfield is a beautiful, welcoming, and diverse community that has been through a lot this year already.
After spending a whole campaign putting a target on Oakland County’s Jewish community, Hasan Piker is the last person who should be antagonizing these voters.
He is a plague here and these feelings of anguish are the result. He should keep West Bloomfield out of his mouth.
