The good guys cut an income from 60 families despite a successful season and the bad guys invest money into their club.
The warped sense of morality that envelops the Premier League is jaw dropping outside the bubble.

“Financial Fair Play” was never really about making football fair. It was about protecting those already at the top.
As Kieran Maguire points out, clubs that spend the most on wages and transfers tend to finish in the top three. So when City arrived with the financial backing to challenge that established hierarchy, suddenly the rules became a matter of existential importance.
City didn’t create football’s financial inequality they challenged who was allowed to benefit from it.
That’s why the real question isn’t simply whether City broke the rules. It’s whether the rules are genuinely about fairness, or about protecting the old order from being disrupted.

This is why NO football fan out of the Red Cartel should want City stripped of their titles.
The rules are 15 years old!
No rules for the 100+ years before when they all made their name, when they took everyone’s best players.
It’s…Corrupt
Its…Anti competitive

Interesting times at @ManCity who have almost no debt, have poured hundreds of millions into regenerating their local area and have the best youth system in the country so they must be punished by the PL.
@ManUtd sacked half their employees , racked up a £1 billion + debt , funnelled their profits to the Cayman Islands and get to set the PL spending rules.
Funny old game as Greavsie used to say.

Noel Gallagher on the verdict: 🗣️
“The club did what they felt they had to do & are adamant they have done nothing wrong & I will take the word of Khaldoon over any clown on YouTube or biased ex-player-turned-pundit.
“Until he speaks, I stand with the club. Then we’ll see.”

🚨🇸🇪 Zlatan Ibrahimović on Premier League clubs celebrating Manchester City’s 115 charges:
🗣️ Zlatan: “I don’t blame them for celebrating these charges. (laughs) We are talking about a club that has traumatized almost every other club in this league for years. Pep came to the Premier League hearing everyone say it’s the most difficult league in the world, then he came and farmed the league like it was a Division Two league.
“He exposed them. He dominated them for years. So if they can’t win against Manchester City on the pitch, I understand why they are celebrating what is happening off it.
“But now they talk as if these charges were the reason Manchester City dominated. Like that was the main tactic City came with onto the pitch. Forgetting the beautiful football they played, how they controlled games and how they actually won those trophies.
“You can celebrate the charges, you can talk about them, you can wait for the verdict. But don’t rewrite football history. Manchester City dominated on the pitch. That is why they won all those trophies.”

Love how other fans think this will change anything
Next match I'll be sat with my dad, him bringing me a kit-kat, buying me a coca cola and telling me he's not been up to much like he has every match for the last 35 years
Everything can change but nothing has changed

After six unforgettable years, the time has come to say goodbye. Manchester City has been so much more than just a football club to me, it has been my home.
Together, we’ve shared incredible moments and won 12 trophies, creating memories that will stay with me forever. But beyond the success on the pitch, it’s the moments in my personal life that have made this city so special.
I lost my dad here, one of the hardest moments of my life. I got married while playing for this club, and we’ve been blessed with two beautiful children during our time here. Manchester will always hold a special place in my heart because so much of my life has happened here.
To all my teammates over the years the manager and the staff, thank you for every moment we shared and every memory we made. We’ve made history together that will never be forgotten! thank you for taking care of me and my family and for making us feel at home from day one.
And to the fans thank you. Thank you for your incredible support through the highest highs and the toughest lows. I will always be grateful for the way you embraced me and my family.
It’s never easy to say goodbye to a place that has given you so much, but I leave with nothing but gratitude and memories that will last a lifetime.
Manchester will always feel like home.
Thank you for everything. 🩵
