"recursive self-improvement" oh you mean a self-fulfilling prophecy, a performative speech act?

I've only been inspired to create a player in a video game twice. The first time, it was Troy Bolton.
The second? @umichwbball's Te'Yala Delfosse.

Brewers World Series victory has evidently closed the portal to Hell opened by the Cubs 2016 title. Our long national nightmare is over
Well the one very real advantage to losing is not needing to share the stage with Cathy #wnbafinals

The future of #ArtificialIntelligence is not pre-determined. As a technology developed by human beings, its future depends on the choices we make. We therefore have the responsibility to guide, change and, when necessary, reject its applications. A reliable system that serves the human person is of greater value than one that is exceptionally powerful but whose consequences cannot be adequately foreseen or controlled.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
During the 2015 WNBA playoffs, while playing for the NY Liberty, we were forced to play back-to-back playoff games against Washington and Indiana.
Fast forward to 2026, Game 6 of the WNBA Finals is being played at 12:30pm on a Thursday to accommodate an NBA regular-season game.
Different circumstances, same underlying issue. At what point do we address the structural sexism embedded in women’s sports?

When we talk about the Atlanta Dream’s journey to the WNBA Finals, we have to talk about Naz Hillmon. 🏀🔥
Drafted 15th overall by the Atlanta Dream in 2022, Naz has been a key piece of this team’s growth from a franchise that struggled in 2021 to a team competing on the biggest stage in 2026.
We often hear the word “glue” when describing a player who holds a team together. We hear about leadership, too. Naz embodies both. Her energy, consistency, toughness, and willingness to do the work that doesn’t always show up in the box score have made her an essential part of this team.
Alongside Rhyne Howard, Naz arrived in 2022 and became part of the foundation of this new era of Atlanta Dream basketball. In 2025, she earned the WNBA Sixth Player of the Year award. This season, she has continued to show why her role matters so much to the team’s success.
Championship journeys are built on more than star power. They’re built by players who bring everything they have to the team, every day.
Naz Hillmon is one of those players. Let’s appreciate her impact and the role she’s played in bringing Atlanta to the Finals.
