At the beginning of the Russian invasion like many of you I was appalled and fully supported Ukraine in its defence but i feel now after all these years and millions of deaths on both sides that we are being taken for fools I know i will get called a Putin apologist etc for saying this (and I'm not) I'm just fed up of the fact we have to keep paying for this war that should have stopped years ago. We get guilt tripped and called traitors if we oppose the end of the war and told and people will say but Putin wont stop he's evil etc. I'm sorry if this sounds selfish but this war needs to end and I support Trump in his wish for it to end. We all know why this war wont end and will continue to escalate because our taxpayer money is being laundered by the EU and our own government. We all know how it works. We all see our MP's who come in on 90 grand a year but end up somehow being multi millionaires. It's the same in the EU This isn't a conspiracy theory its basic money laundering 101 throwing taxpayer money at wars and into arms and ammunition manufacturers who's shares suddenly go ballistic when a war starts, contracts awarded to friends and family's "brown envelopes etc" And then we keep escalating because greed sets in, talks of brits going to war to fight the evil Russians. I'm sorry but this needs to stop. We need to audit and track every single penny and know where it has gone, we need to stop this madness that is costing lives and the biggest cost of living crisis since WW2 before we end up losing everything we have built. We have allowed this to happen through fear and the mainstream media pushing this on a daily basis. I don't care if i get hate for this post but someone needs to say it i know many of us have had enough and i do not want to see any more Brits dying so our corrupt politicians can get richer, the same ones who call us racist and far right for being patriotic who then expect us to fight for THEM. This war can be stopped through diplomacy they are not even trying and the cokehead below doesn't want it to stop because he knows when it does there will be elections and he will be out of office. There are bad people on all sides of this war and it wont end until enough people call for it to end.
