Americans are immune to propoganda, they just on average think 21% of Americans are trans and 27% are Muslim for no real reason
I never want to hear about how Americans are propagandized again. We learn about the founding fathers' slaves in middle school, meanwhile grown ass adults in China think Mao was under democratic constraints somehow.

"A hazing incident." Seal Team 6 guys killed him after finding out he had reported their theft of government $$ and trafficking of local African women. The authorities pretended to prosecute the two ST6 operators involved but let them out of prison as soon as attention died down.
Please help me honor US Army Green Beret Staff Sergeant Logan Melgar. On June 4, 2017, the 34-year-old engineer sergeant was killed in Mali during a hazing incident by fellow special operators who broke into his room, restrained him, and applied a chokehold that led to his death by asphyxiation. From Lubbock, Texas, he served with the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) after enlisting in 2012, completed Special Forces training, and deploying twice to Afghanistan. Survived by his wife Michelle and their two sons, Melgar was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery, leaving a legacy of service and a case that exposed serious issues of accountability within elite military units. Never forgotten.

they use dictator like "terrorist" basically and get confused when they're met with a collective 'what are you talking about' response
The reason why the whole discourse about Mao is irritating is because the way that “dictator” is used in the west is a means of shutting down a discussion because “dictator” means “evil”— but this is a child’s view that moralizes history rather than seeking to understand

If you want the money of the Chinese, then you must respect the Chinese. If I wanted to serve Chinese clientele, then I wouldn’t insult Mao. If I wanted to serve French clientele, then I wouldn’t insult men that groom children for sex. It’s the free market, friend.

I'll never forget ozzfest 2000 when apartment 26's singer came out to the concourse to sing Backwards & I watched an ill advised mosh pit start and a guy get his head cracked against the cement wall
Fuck it, my 40 favorite nu metal songs of all time

it was over 100 degrees that day, but I'll always remember that because I never tried a pit after that experience

You live at the center of a global military empire with ~1,000 overseas bases, strangling countries w/ sanctions, coups & war for refusing to submit to US dictates. Thinking Americans shouldn’t care about elections abroad is brain dead imperial chauvinism
Earnest take: I think it’s probably not healthy for the practice of democratic self-government that so many people have developed strong rooting interests in elections in countries they don’t live in.

Everytime I watch a classic horror film I think. Why isnt this 8 hours long with a cliffhanger every hour?
HBO is officially developing ‘THE BIRDS’, a new series inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's film. Starring Sarah Snook, the series is a modern-day reimagining of the film set in Alaska with a murder mystery at the center. (Source: Deadline)

Sino Russo cultural exchange update
Replying to @DantesDmitriy
之前有人问我为什么喜欢俄罗斯文学,我告诉他,这感觉就像是在大雪纷飞的冬夜,喝得醉醺醺,从暖烘烘的屋子里走出去,在雪地上痛快地撒那泡尿。

The people cutting employees while revenue is growing are the same people you're counting on to pay your UBI out of the goodness of their hearts.
Microsoft is offering buyouts to 60,000(!) employees. Headcount and revenue growth is really starting to diverge at tech companies.
