Ran Bath half marathon in support of Prostate Cancer UK. First half marathon, though ran many 5ks/10ks as Governor in Cayman Islands. Almost 10000 runners, crowds and spring sunshine. Enjoyed first visit to wonderful city of Bath and exploring amazing Roman baths. #Bathalf2024

A while back local artist Chris Christian gifted us a wonderful painting entitled “Bath Pan”. We will leave it at Government House for future visitors to enjoy and have purchased a smaller copy to take back to the UK with us - a reminder of all our Cayman memories.

More turtle lighting has been installed at Government House. Thanks to @doecayman. Artificial lighting is a threat to turtles. In the last 3 years, 623 nests were laid in locations with problematic lighting. Funding for lighting is available in some cases. Contact [email protected]

One last evening with our wonderful seafarers at the Seafarers Association AGM. Our seafarers and families have given so much to the Cayman Islands. They have helped make our Islands the great success they they are today. Younger generations owe them a debt of gratitude.
