Perpetual futures are becoming an increasingly important part of the DoubleZero Edge story.
With Hyperliquid, Solana, and Kalshi now onboard, we’re expanding the number of venues and instruments that traders, and the automated systems and agents increasingly trading on their behalf, can observe and act on with consistently low-latency delivery.

One year ago, the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance issued a landmark no-action letter to DoubleZero Foundation, a wonderful conclusion to the productive dialogue we began in April 2025.
2Z supports decentralized infrastructure by compensating contributors for work actually done: providing fiber connectivity and resources.
In response to our request, the staff confirmed that it would not recommend enforcement action under Securities Act §5 or Exchange Act §12(g) for programmatic 2Z transfers conducted as described.

A monumental milestone: the @SECGov has issued a No-Action Letter for @DoubleZero.
The starting point for the design of our (not-so) small mission (a faster internet) was always that 2Z is not a security.
As @CommissionerPeirce notes in her statement on DoubleZero’s No-Action Letter:
“Treating such tokens as securities would suppress the growth of networks of distributed providers of services.”

DoubleZero runs on a more pure token economic model than most projects, and we've done a bunch of writing about this, but as there's a bunch of new people excited about the project, I thought I'd do a summary.
DoubleZero is a protocol you can build anything on top of, but one of the most popular products developed is DoubleZero Edge.
Edge works this way:
- Fees are paid in stablecoin (or credit cards or ACH) and that swapped into solana:J6pQQ3FAcJQeWPPGppWRb4nM8jU3wLyYbRrLh7feMfvd
- 45% of that 2z is distributed to the fiber network providers that support the infrastructure network. Importantly, there are no passive emissions, so the only payout fiber contributors get is based on fees paid in.
- 45% of that is distributed to the data originators, which in this case are participating Solana validators and Hyperliquid validators. These income streams are segmented by network (So Solana fees go to Solana validators, and Hyperliquid fees go to Hyperliquid validators.)
- 10% of the solana:J6pQQ3FAcJQeWPPGppWRb4nM8jU3wLyYbRrLh7feMfvd is burned to permanently remove it from supply by destroying it.
- The protocol has no inflation.

Today we announced our first project bringing an infrastructure team from outside the Hyperliquid ecosystem directly onto the network — and it's a milestone I'm genuinely excited about.
@HyperionDeFi is supporting @doublezero in bringing Hyperliquid to its market-data platform, making Hyperliquid the third venue on DoubleZero Edge after Solana and Kalshi.
At launch, Edge delivers the fastest commercially available Hyperliquid data feed: full order-book coverage across native perps and HIP-3 real-world-asset markets (gold, silver, oil, and more), with plans to expand into Outcome Markets as HIP-4 liquidity grows — supporting cross-venue arbitrage against platforms like Kalshi.
As part of the arrangement, Hyperion DeFi obtained 10 million DoubleZero "2Z" tokens, with additional future revenue earned as this data gets published and used.
This is the model I expect us to keep running: find infrastructure and trading teams that aren't yet native to Hyperliquid, help bring them onto the network, and let Hyperion DeFi capture the upside and revenue that come with driving that growth. Today is the first — not the last.
