I'm honored to receive this award from @UNCG for my work with #undergraduateresearch. I supervised research projects of 25 undergraduate students over the past 5 years, many of which resulted in publications in Q1 journals.

Was inspired by @sarahlovesmaths on @myfavethm so gave a go at animating Beekman’s visual proof of area of cycloid

📢 Exciting news (from last month😅)!
Our Early Stage Researcher, Diogo @pires_dl, had his paper published in PLOS One, and it's a must-read!
🔍📝Check out this paper & unwrap the connections between mobility, network topology and cooperative behaviour:

Presenting the work done together with @mathflipped and Mark Broom at @netsci2023. This conference is definitely the cherry on top of my (now ending) 3-month visit to @CSHVienna and @MedUni_Wien! 🥰🥰
The International School and Conference on Network Science @netsci2023 is happening right now in Vienna, and some of our ESRs are presenting their work there! Diogo Pires @pires_dl gave a talk on multiplayer cooperation in networks of mobile agents 👏

We have a new paper on Stackelberg evolutionary games, their properties and applications! See @alexstein_ tweetorial on the key messages! @monica_salvioli @HGarjani @YViossat @jladubbeld @Sciurusniger
New paper out! 🥳 How do we (humans) as rational managers control evolving biological systems? - In our paper, we adopt and formalize a mathematical framework “Stackelberg evolutionary game (SEG) theory”. We demonstrate how to use it in applications. 🧵
