The Minister of Finance Prof. Mthuli Ncube has spoken on the upcoming Pre-Budget Seminar scheduled to take place from 28 to 31 October 2026 at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Grounds in Bulawayo.
The seminar will bring together Ministries and Parliamentary Portfolio Committees to make presentations and deliberate on proposed policy measures, sectoral priorities and programmes for consideration in the 2027 National Budget.
The deliberations will provide a platform for Members of Parliament and Government Ministries to examine sector-specific funding requirements, identify national development priorities and make recommendations to inform the formulation of the forthcoming National Budget.
The seminar forms part of Parliament’s budget oversight and consultation processes, providing an opportunity for informed discussion on the allocation of public resources in line with the country’s development priorities. – at Harare, Zimbabwe
