This thought experiment suggests how gravity might work. And nothing but the conservation of momentum law is required.
Suppose we have frogs of mass m jumping over a floating island of mass M. Every jump transfers the same impulse p.
Landing makes the island heavier (M + m).
Takeoff makes it lighter (M − m).
Because Δv = p/M, the same impulse causes a smaller Δv when the island is heavier and a larger Δv when it is lighter. Over many jumps, a tiny directional drift appears opposite to the frogs’ motion.
Now make it two islands. Each island emits its own ‘frogs’ (momentum carriers). Carriers jump both ways between islands. Because each transfer obeys Δv = p/M and interaction timing is asymmetric, the net drift is mutual attraction.
The point is that emergent motion can arise from conservation of momentum. This emergent motion is not a force - a byproduct of tiny continuous interactions. It exists as long as frog motion exists, depends on the number of frogs, and cannot be canceled by any single frog.
I’m not claiming this is exactly what happens, but consider:
- an emergent drift toward the source of frogs, following from conservation of momentum - not a force
- tiny compared with direct interactions (jumping frogs)
Cool?
Maybe gravity is not a force field. Maybe it’s bookkeeping of momentum exchange.
By the way. I predicted that AI will let those with ad budgets copy any your idea and promote it as theirs years ago.

Would you want to see a major breakthrough like disproving Special Relativity during your lifetime?
Would you want to be a part of it?

If mass-energy equivalence is true, then Newton’s second law should be allied both to rest mass and momentum. Any that will explain relativity.
The effect of gravity is so tiny be cause it’s not a force but a difference between forces.

You can be astonished or find a reason.

Math is just structured thought. It’s all imaginary.
The fact that it corresponds to reality at all is scandalous, shocking, and enough to astonish a person for life. This is why physicists are weird btw. They’ve seen too much.
So I created a manifold market. Maybe it will help to promote the experiment.
You could bet as well - it's "free" as they give you some amount of their internal money on registration.
*Betting is not real as you can spend your prize only for charity.
