RIP Alan Dysert, 75. The "All My Children" alum wrote in 2023 about his battle with an aggressive and incurable cancer.

RIP Walter Koenig, 90. I just saw his interview in "The Sixty-Year Mission" about how they styled him to look like Davy Jones on "Star Trek." A warm man. Now, only Kirk (William Shatner, 95) & Sulu (George Takei, 89) remain of "Star Trek's" original main cast.

Queen Gladys Knight, in an acting gig, played a nurse schooling kids about AIDS in "An Enemy Among Us" (1987), a "CBS Schoolbreak Special" that was bumped up to a nighttime TV movie starring Danny Nucci.

RIP Tom DeSimone, 87. He directed gay porn that had plot & good dialogue, and also directed the outrageous "Chatterbox," about a woman whose vagina named Virginia talks and sings disco.

Edythe Eyde made history by publishing the first lesbian magazine in the U.S., "Vice Versa" ... and did it without realizing she was courting prison time. She later receded from activism but lived a long life, mostly in a bungalow she bought on her RKO secretary wages.

Tom Skerritt died at 93. He was just at an art show by Jeff Bridges this year and looked so good, but things can go south fast in old age. Great actor. Probably most beloved to me for "Alien."

RIP “Shazam!” star and ‘70s teen heartthrob Michael Gray. He was 75. Those shows (“Isis,” “Electra Woman”) were formative for me.
