If you vibe-coded your web app and take payments online (like Stripe), learn credit card processing requirements and guidelines. This year alone, I know 3 people whose merchant accounts were frozen or nuked for minor site violations.

This is a race to the bottom. SaaS is Walmartized. Enterprise will eat all the cakes.
Datafast revenue down 43% over the last 7 days.. is this normal?

I completely disagree. Look at the Indie SaaS influencers and YouTubers. They just recreate existing software, there's nothing special about most of their products. The sole reason they make money is distribution. With a large enough audience, a percentage of people will buy no matter what.
Distribution won't save you. You could have millions of followers, a viral launch, press everywhere. None of it matters if your product sucks. Build a great product first. Distribution becomes way easier.

If you sell a low-ticket SaaS and customers don’t stick around, try this: Stop selling monthly and yearly. Instead, do quarterly and early. Even if you lose half of sales, you still make more revenue.

If you're thinking of building the 100,001st agentic coding harness, I highly suggest checking out harnesses for audio AI… that market is not even close to being saturated. 👀

As Jeff Bezos once said, it’s better to own 15% of a $225 million company than 100% of a $7,836 company.

Mark owns the majority of voting in Meta. Call it as is. Mark made a deal with Mark.
BREAKING: Meta, $META, has struck a deal with Mark Zuckerberg to keep him living in California after the CEO warned he was considering leaving the state that houses the company's headquarters if voters pass a wealth tax proposal next month, per Reuters

Anthropic is casually losing a small country's budget, and OpenAI is spamming resets… of course, none of this is going to end well. If you are building something, take full advantage of the current AI prices. You never know when it will be over.

People who say enterprise SaaS is dead due to decompiling are invested in AI or indie hackers selling todo-app variants to their followers. Photoshop, Word, and nearly every profitable software has had open-source alternatives for decades without meaningfully affecting their margins. Now a vibe-coded clone far worse than open-source will take over? Come on, that's a stupid take. People buy the end result and solution, not the software, and only a paid product guarantees it.

GPT 6.1 is insufferable. I'm canceling this trash. I was writing copy and asked it to check the grammar. It returned a completely rewritten text that removes all personality and replaces it with corporate language. Even ancient Composer is better.

People who genuinely think they will be able to buy a flying car need medical help. When the Cybertruck was announced it had no side mirrors, which were added to the release version. Why? Because Tesla lost a fight to NHTSA and could not keep the truck without mirrors. Now they somehow expect to put “flying” cars on the roads.

You know, Anthropic is preparing for an IPO, given the long absence of the dumbest takes ever.

I think it makes sense why OpenAI is going down hard. From their 28 days of improvement or reset so far, it's: • Improvements: Days 1, 4, 5, 7, 9 (5 days) • Resets: Days 2, 3 (banked), 6, 8, 10 (5 days) A 50/50 ratio on delivery is crazy bad. They literally bribe users with resets like some politicians lol.

Biggest grifter and slop producer Alex Finn (@AlexFinn) keeps selling false advice to people, and when he gets called out he just blocks. Funnily enough, the blocked comment is a top liked comment.

This is a disaster. Musk really killed Cursor. Pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars a year for sloppy Grok and good but outdated Composer. Just wow.
We've unified plans across Grok, Cursor, and X Premium. Introducing The X Subscription.

Nvidia has been “spinning” gamers on a stick for a while. First crypto, now AI. I get it, it's business. But putting all eggs in one basket will eventually bite them. AMD, Sony, Xbox… they will all slowly but surely lure gamers into their ecosystems.

The future will have only two types of AI models: Expensive, powerful models for hard tasks, planning, and reviews. Cheap workhorses for dumb execution. LLM labs that don’t fit either category will go out of business.

No talented engineers will join a company where the CEO uses the term SI instead of AI.
The Cursor team is very talented indeed What I don’t understand is, now that they’re SpaceX, why anyone with options to join Ant or OpenAI or GDM would join SpaceX given how poorly Musk companies treat engineers Hard to see top tier ppl join who were not acqui-hired for $$$

Tibo’s 28 days of “improvement or reset” is mostly the second option. They paused $200 Pro, reopened it with half the usage, and are now papering over the cuts with daily resets so people don’t notice how much better Opus 5.5 is right now for actual agent work. Marketing 101.

Opus 5.5 is a pinnacle of LLMs. That’s it, if every lab stopped releasing new models today, we wouldn’t even notice. There will never be a better ROI than with Opus 5.5.
