why would they make an exception for "the kid" ???? the season will finish on december 12th and until then, just like every other F1 champion, he won't get to actually pose/hold the WDC trophy. why are they constantly trying to change things that have been working for decades
🚨 The FIA has reportedly REJECTED F1’s request to present Kimi Antonelli with the World Championship trophy in Mexico.
FOM had requested an exception to allow the trophy to be used for photographs if Antonelli clinches the title this weekend.
However, the FIA refused, insisting on maintaining tradition.
If Antonelli becomes champion on Sunday, only a digital representation of the trophy is expected at the podium.
The real trophy will be presented at the FIA’s end-of-season ceremony on December 12.
