Chicago gives voters the option to pick a language on voting machines. English is the official language of the United States. Citizens should be able to read and understand a ballot without translation. This isn’t compassion. It’s a policy that removes the incentive for immigrants to learn English and fully integrate into American civic life. When we treat English as optional at the polls, we signal that assimilation is optional too. No other serious country structures its elections this way. We shouldn’t either. This nonsense has to end!

You gave people a $150 rebate in an election year, right before the election, after raising the average bill by $4,000 a year. Woman with a prior violent criminal record arrested after stabbing a 7-year-old girl to death. A 7-year-old girl was walking with her older sister on Chicago’s South Side today when a random 48 year old woman approached her and stabbed her multiple times, killing her. This woman is explaining why she can no longer work starting with: “Let me get on here and piss some people off. I’m white, I’m nonbinary, I’m gay, I have a fucking pink mullet, and I’m chronically ill and disabled. I don’t really work a job, and when I do, I can’t work more than 15 hours a week. Matter of fact, right now, I am currently unemployed.” The crazy part is that if you open TikTok, you can run into videos like hers almost every day from other young people who identify as chronically ill and disabled. And, of course, many of them are part of the queer community, and the majority are liberal white women with brightly dyed hair. It’s 2026. Medicine is better than it has ever been, yet more people seem to be sick, and these aren’t elderly patients. They’re young and able-bodied. I don’t know if something is in the air or the food, if there’s some incentive for doctors to diagnose these people with various illnesses and put them on medication, turning them into lifelong patients, or if this is simply a mental health issue that isn’t being properly treated. But this is not normal. There is no way this many young people can be sick with the same illnesses, during the same period, all at once, while trying to get disability benefits and accommodations. She wasn’t actively on social media much but she posted numerous videos showing off her dance talents for the past last year. Strangely enough her mobility doesn’t look abnormal and not even once I couldn’t see a video of her using a cane to move around just the opposite. I’ve seen people who fought and beat cancer, as well as visibly disabled people missing limbs or joints, who don’t make videos explaining why they can’t work or live a normal life, unlike so many people who have their entire adult lives ahead of them. Someone needs to look into this phenomenon because the math isn’t mathing.

Meet Mark Davis. He’s on the ballot for Congress in Florida’s 16th District as “no party affiliation,” which is a costume. The platform is leftist straight through: healthcare for all, abortion rights, tighter gun laws, and a running monologue about how Trump 2.0 made him snap. He showed up at the Vance rally in Lakeland to stand with the protesters and perform for his social-media audience throwing slurs at MAGA supporters. That’s the whole act. He doesn’t show up to argue. He shows up to bait, film, and post. This isn’t a one-off. In July, Manatee deputies arrested him on a misdemeanor for obstructing an officer without violence while they were carrying out a court-ordered welfare check tied to concerns about his children, including firearms in the house. He filmed that too and put it online. He has built a following by treating every confrontation as content. Call it severe TDS if you want. The practical problem is simpler: a man who gets arrested obstructing police, treats political events as stunts, and runs on rage is asking to represent other people. Representation requires a baseline of self-control. He hasn’t shown it. Florida’s 16th doesn’t need another guy who confuses a camera with a qualification.
