Atlantic Junior CB Tristan Horne (@TristanHorne_) Picks Off 3 Passes
Atlantic junior cornerback Tristan Horne made his presence felt against Blanche Ely, coming away with three interceptions in a standout defensive performance.
Horne comes from a deep South Florida football bloodline with family roots throughout Palm Beach County, particularly Pahokee, Belle Glade and Boynton Beach. While the family tree includes athletes who have competed at the college and professional levels, Tristan is beginning to build a name of his own through preparation, consistency and production.
His family’s football and athletic legacy includes:
• Tavius Horne Jr. (older brother) — East Carolina University
• Patrick Horne Sr. (uncle) — Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, Arena Football League & professional track
• Korey Banks— NFL & CFL
• Brad Banks — Heisman Trophy runner-up & CFL quarterback
• Boris Banks — CFL
• C.J. Jones — NFL
• Anquan Boldin — NFL
• Demir Boldin — Professional football
• Jayron Hosley — NFL
• Demetrius Brown — Professional football
• Kennard Banks — Iowa State University
• Kevin Bouie — Professional football
• Joe Milton — NFL
• Keni-H Lovely — Professional football
• Akeem Dent — Professional football
• Greg Dent — Florida State University
• Remuise Johnson — University of Kansas & Arena Football League
• Korey Banks Jr.— University of South Carolina
The bloodline speaks for itself, but three interceptions in one game shows Tristan Horne is working to create his own chapter.
