your margin sits there doing nothing while you trade that's the part nobody talks about @grvt_io wants to fix that: > target up to 11% apy on eligible assets, not guaranteed > comes from tokenized fixed income, the stuff banks keep for themselves > capital can keep earning while you're in positions > you keep control of your assets $160T fixed income market and most of it never touched onchain would you park idle margin in this or keep it dry?

"trust me bro" is not a tokenomics model @grvt_io burned 1.1M $GRVT straight to 0x...dEaD > tx is onchain, anyone can check it > close to 1% of circulating supply gone > buybacks are intended monthly, discretionary you don't have to believe the team. just open the explorer when was the last time you actually checked a burn tx yourself?

eth gas hit ~$0.004 this week, people are calling it solana tier cheap gas was never the real problem tho the real problem your liquidity lives on one chain and the action on another @RomeProtocol just puts them on the same state > one solidity contract, evm + solana wallets > already live: base and polygon users earning on kamino without leaving their chain > no bridge hunting. no new wallet be honest, how many chains did you bridge through this week?

I've always been pretty conventional when it comes to trading. i have my preferred TA, the setups i look for and my own way of reading the market. never really used AI for trading but i've been curious about how autonomous agents actually work, especially when real capital and risk management come into the picture. making profits is one thing. managing drawdowns and staying consistent over time is another. @AgenticsCredit approaches this through its credit layer for human traders and AI agents. its Agentic Credit Score (ACS) evaluates trading performance based on profitability, drawdown, consistency, track record and win rate while its Risk Engine is designed to enforce trading limits. i've registered and started exploring the platform. next i'll be checking out the agent builder to see how it works and how a trading strategy can be automated. their Quest Hub is live too with a share of $5M in rewards up for grabs agentics.credit/launch

so the first GRVT buyback is done. 1.1M ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf bought and burned, with the records available onchain. that's nearly 1% of the circulating supply at the time of purchase. but there's a difference between buying tokens back and what happens to them afterward. what happens to the tokens matters if tokens are bought back and kept in a treasury, they still exist and could potentially be used later. in GRVT's case, the tokens were burned using the contract's burn() function. they're permanently removed from total supply and can't be recovered, even by GRVT itself. so this isn't just tokens changing hands. you can check the records yourself @grvt_io has a public dashboard showing the amount bought, the share of circulating supply, cumulative burns and transaction hashes. grvt.io/exchange/buybacks the purchases are handled by an independent execution partner on behalf of the Foundation's token issuer. i prefer this over having to take a project's word for it. you can go through the records and verify what's happened onchain. now let's see how it goes from here GRVT intends to do buybacks monthly but each round is still at the issuer's discretion. the timing and amount can change, so future rounds aren't guaranteed. one completed round is a good start. personally, i'd be more interested in seeing how this develops over the next few months than making a big deal out of one burn. what's coming next - Grvt Earn (late Oct): tokenized fixed-income strategies targeting up to 11% APY on eligible assets. returns aren't guaranteed. - Stable Funding Perps (Nov): stocks, FX, commodities and indices, planned with zero trading fees and once-daily funding. - Yield as Margin (Nov): use eligible Earn balances as trading margin while continuing to earn yield. - Grvt 2.0 (late Nov): one app, one self-custodial balance for earning and trading. the part i'm most interested in is Yield as Margin. your eligible balance could potentially keep earning while backing your trades, which is a more interesting use of capital than simply having another product to trade on. but the actual mechanics and risks matter too. i'll be interested to see how they bring it all together. the burn is done. now let's see how the rest of the roadmap plays out.

most "buybacks" just move tokens into a treasury wallet team can sell them back whenever they want grvt didn't do that 1.1M ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf bought back, then burned for good a treasury bag is a maybe, a burn is final which one do you actually trust?

we keep getting more chains, but making them work together is still a headache. bridges can move assets between ecosystems. cross-chain swaps are already a thing too. but moving tokens is one thing. letting an app use what another ecosystem has to offer is a different challenge. that's what @RomeProtocol is built around. Rome runs an EVM as a program on Solana, letting Solidity smart contracts interact with Solana's native programs within the same atomic transaction. think about a swap app built with Solidity that wants to tap into a Solana DEX. the idea is to let the contract call the Solana program as part of its own transaction, rather than treating Solana as just another destination for tokens. this isn't just a concept on paper. Rome's EVM is deployed on Solana mainnet and its broader app ecosystem includes both mainnet infrastructure and applications running on testnet. the interesting part is how this could give developers a way to use familiar EVM tooling while tapping into Solana-native functionality. still digging into Rome but the idea is starting to click for me
