Apple's Vision Pro doesn't. If Apple stays privacy focused too long, it will see early adopters switch away from its ecosystem.
This is the big risk.
Privacy freaked out people won't be the early adopters of these devices.
Apple needs to open up to keep developers and early adopters on its platforms or else they will switch in droves and build the future that will draw everyone else in.
Add into this Apple's weak AI strategy and execution so far and this is the risk for investors.
Can Apple change before it sees its whole market flip?
From many years of experience in immersive virtual events, my conclusion is that in the virtual era, you can’t fool the user—they’re in it for the culture. Meta has everything but culture. Can it succeed in this space?

I was just standing in a queue, waiting to pay for my groceries when the guy in front of me turned around and asked if I have a loyalty card (the shop doesn’t matter, this is not a sponsored post), hoping to save a little cash.
I’d left my phone in the car, so I was like, “Ah man, sorry, I don’t.”
Before I could even blink, the woman behind me jumped in and offered hers.
