Today, I held a constructive meeting with @mbupsa President Gideon and Vice President Ritah, both final-year BPharm students at @MbararaUST, and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to resolving all outstanding issues raised by @PharmacistsUg. The Department, under my interim leadership, is working closely with University Management to this end. The Vice Chancellor has assured me of Management’s commitment to addressing the outstanding staffing matters within the next four weeks and reaffirmed confidence in the quality and competitiveness of MUST’s BPharm programme. I urge our students to remain calm and focused as the necessary processes progress. To @PharmacistsUg Council, I reaffirm that the welfare and training of our future pharmacists remain our highest priority. Your students are in safe hands, and we remain committed to working constructively with all stakeholders to resolve these matters in the best interests of pharmacy education and the profession.
