The world needs optimists.
I’ve been proud to serve eight years with Mayor Pro Tem Kevin McManus of south Kansas City. His spirit, professionalism, and kindness will be missed at City Hall.
My thanks to @mcmanuskc and his family for giving so much to our community.

More heartbreaking news from @IAFFLocal42 and @KCMOFireDept. Keep thinking about those we have lost and all of our first responders and city workers who are putting service ahead of themselves in the midst of a deadly disease.
Local 42 is again, today, devastated to share the news that another brother, Communications Specialist Scott Davidson has died from COVID-19, contracted in the line of duty in service to the citizens of Kansas City, Missouri. Rest In Peace. #LODD

ICYMI: @KCMOHealthDept and @QuintonLucasKC today announced new guidelines in effect to combat rising cases of #COVID19 in #KCMo. Mask up and stay #SaferAtHomeKC
Kansas City, we are #SaferAtHome. While these guidelines will provide necessary parameters to limit group gatherings, slowing the spread of #COVID19 will require participation from us all. We ask that you act in the best interest of not just yourself, but our entire community.
Thank you, America. Democracy wins. Congratulations to @JoeBiden @KamalaHarris.
