📣 Massive day for @pierrecomputer — Code Storage is now generally available! Expressly built for machines and the massive agentic volume we’re seeing. More repos/second than any other code host and already home to some of the best platforms. ↪ code.storage
Signups are now open on Code[dot]Storage. Today, more new repos are created per second on Code Storage than any other platform. Lovable, Bolt, Amp, Poke, and many more of the largest agentic workloads store their code and agent memory at scale using Code.Storage.

New syntax highlighting library from @pierrecomputer has landed and, spoiler alert, it's really fast.
Today we're launching an exciting new project: Highlights Highlights is a syntax highlighter that outputs HTML. It improves on both speed and correctness compared to the existing industry standard libraries. It's an optional drop-in replacement in Diffs, and it's ready to use today. In fact, it's already powering diffshub․com! Check it out at diffs.com/highlights OR `pnpm install @pierre/highlights`

Still been working on thse new @pierrecomputer icons and plugins to help. Here's a video of the latest version. Still fine-tuning overlays, masks, and more across the three sizes, but this makes it so simple.
I've been redrawing the icons we use at @pierrecomputer. Along the way, I've been whipping up plugins to help me manage them—like this Layer Swap tool for "composite icons." Allows me to swap every instance of each layer with ease. Much faster, much easier.

One of my favorite changes in Bootstrap 6 is token maps. They’re Sass maps for CSS variables that get emitted on component class or `:root`, meaning no matter how you customize Bootstrap (in Sass or compiled CSS), you’re just writing CSS. Stoked we came up with this solution.
Absolutely huge day today—Bootstrap 6 Alpha 1 has arrived! Refreshed design, updated docs, new components, new Sass/CSS approach, more modern frontend stack, updated tooling. getbootstrap.com

On the `:root` (which also has `:host` for web component folks), these token maps get merged together and everything emits all at once. This way, global overrides function the same as component ones.

So in your own Sass, you use the new module system to import Bootstrap and then you can start customizing at any level. We still have some Sass variables for global configuration but everywhere else, we did our best to use token maps and CSS variables for styling.

I wrote way too many words about Bootstrap 6 on our blog. So many that I had to split it across several blog posts, some of which I haven't even finished yet. Suffice to say, it's a huge release and I'm hyped for getting it stable in the coming weeks. blog.getbootstrap.com/2026/1…

And speaking of the blog, it's a triple ship day! New Bootstrap 6, new Icons release, and new blog design. The latter have been refreshed to be built on @astrodotbuild, include search via Pagefind, have new v6-based designs, and overall new designs. icons.getbootstrap.com

On August 19, 2011, Web developers Mark Otto and Jacob Thornton of Twitter began creating the CSS framework Bootstrap in mid-2011. The framework was originally developed to help maintain the HTML/CSS and JavaScript code consistency in Twitter applications.

Code Storage is an incredible piece of technology They have seamlessly scaled to tens of millions of Git repos backing Bolt projects without a hiccup Jacob and their team have been excellent partners for us at Bolt - can't recommend higher

Back when we were building Diffs, I made a Playground page to test all the features and themes in one place. Today, it's the perfect spot to test edit mode and every other library feature. Options get saved in the URL for easy sharing, too. 🛝 diffs.com/playground
