U.S. Navy Petty Officer Third Class Steven Dwight Sears passed away on November 1, 1967 from wounds sustained earlier that day in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam. Steven was a 20 year old Corpsman from Highview, Iowa. H&S Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines. Remember “Doc” today. He is an American Hero.🇺🇸
