Memoato started as a personal memory app.
I wanted to write messy notes in normal language, keep the original words and find the useful details later.
Once I started building extraction and recall, the harder questions became obvious:
1. Where did this fact come from?
2. Was it extracted by a model or confirmed by a person?
3. Is it still current?
4. Who is allowed to retrieve it?
5. What changed since the last answer?
Those questions also apply to context used by software teams and AI agents.
So Memoato is growing into a trustworthy context product, while personal memory remains the first workspace and the place where these problems became real.
I liked DSL, but this makes it way frictionless and more intuitive to build. 🐝
Try it out! @WaspLang
Today I failed again.
That's what old me would say.
But not anymore, consistency beats intensity.
The most important thing is to keep going, even if it means crawling.
Today was extremely hard day, poor sleep, rain keeps falling the whole winter, kinda sick, huge amount of work to do, which I don't mind, but hard to stay on track with personal stuff.
On the flip side, I have evolved, consistency beats intensity: I did 2 pull ups, 5 push ups and spent 12 cals on stationary bike. At 11:30 pm. Might seem lame, but every rep counts. It will get better and easier eventually, the most important thing is to keep going.
Started working on a huge revamp of @memoatoo. Instead of hardcoded categories, users will log naturally via text, voice or other app integrations. For example, I did 24 minutes of indoor cycling, spent 250 kcal and drove 8km. AI will label all the data for you and give you insights over time. Suggest you goals and keep you on track with zero friction. No decision fatigue, ultrafast UI. Free and open source. There is still plenty of room for reinventing basic apps.

Would've never managed to hit 7k active cals per week goal without @memoatoo
Struck 2170 cals today to hit it.
Minimal friction and instant dopamine boost every day help me immensely to reach my goals.
Something like this was unimaginable just 2 months ago!

• Public read-only dashboard: /u/<username>
• Revokable JSON feed (for personal websites + integrations)
Question: If you were to share ONE metric publicly for accountability, what would it be and why?
I ship to production from my phone.
Old HP laptop as a home build server, Tailscale + tmux for persistence, Telegram notifications so I never wait, Cloudflare Tunnel to expose local apps to real domains.
Wasp DSL makes the intent explicit and AI friendly, and the Claude Code plugin keeps edits aligned with Wasp conventions.

Today's focus was on reducing friction and improving the user experience:
• Added quick log button positioned naturally for your thumb (can be set right or left)
• Quick log smart suggestions based on your previous entries
• Pace marker so you can see if you're ahead or behind your goals
After initially failing today, added biggest feature yet.
@memoatoo goal is to remove ALL off the friction!
Recording shows how fast you can log something:
- Press L for new log
- Add value - algorithm suggests category
- Press Enter
🚀 less than 3 seconds
