Remember Del Rio? Get off your butt and go vote unless you want Del Rio x100. In September 2021, more than 12,000 migrants crossed the Rio Grande and set up camp under the international bridge in Del Rio, Texas. This is what a town of about 35,000 people woke up to. Tents, tarps and lines of people stretched as far as the drone could see. They didn't come through a port of entry. They waded across the river by the thousands, day after day, and the camp grew faster than Border Patrol could process it. Eagle Pass, El Paso and Lukeville saw the same kind of crowds over the next two years. At the time, the administration called the border "closed." The footage says otherwise. Today is Election Day. In my opinion, if Democrats take back Congress, we could end up with something even worse than this. The border isn't secured by an executive order alone. Congress controls the money for enforcement, the laws and the oversight, and a Democrat Congress can slow down all of it. If you haven't voted yet, get out and vote. Bring a friend. Polls are still open. Do you want to see Del Rio again, or worse?
