Online communities are great, but I need real life/in person gatherings with fellow music makers. If you're in the Dallas area, join us Thursday July 17 at 7pm for our next Music Lifer Meetup. We'll all grab food and drinks after. Details below...
Every musician I trust has failed. Big. It stings, but it teaches us. The people I admire most have epic stories of defeat, followed by a pivot. Clip from a bigger convo on my Youtube channel.

“It’s not really enjoyable to make music now… it takes a lot of time, it takes a lot of practice, you have to get really good at an instrument or really good at a piece of production software. I think the majority of people don’t enjoy the majority of time they spend making music.” Founder of @suno_ai_ @MikeyShulman
Always interesting to hear someone with a completely opposite view to me.
