Masterclass by Zelensky on pushing back against Trump and Vance. The full video is stunning.
No war time leader would allow his nation to be treated this way by a couple of social media jockeys.

By the way, this is the same reason why Burisma hired Hunter Biden -- it wasn't for corrupt reason (that Hunter's father could help them), but the stupid reason that having famous people gives your company more legitimacy.

I've released NAT Slipstreaming, a spooky new technique that allows an attacker to remotely access any TCP/UDP service bound to a victim machine, bypassing the victim’s NAT/firewall, just by the victim visiting a website. samy.pl/slipstream/ Happy Halloween!

Exactly 9 months ago, just after 5am UK time on the 12 January, the first BBC TV report ran about the death of a man in central China from a peculiar new disease. Officials insisted it was all under control and would be nothing like the 2008 SARS outbreak which killed 770 people.

This is the type of propaganda video I’m used to seeing from authoritarians and populists in the former Soviet Union. I’ll say it again, more and more the US is resembling countries I’ve covered as a foreign correspondent.

It was a public service.
I'm one of those troubled by violating sacred oaths, so would like to see Snowden serve some jailtime.
On the other hand, there's no denying that it was a public service. The government was spying on its own citizens in an outrageous manner.
The last time we heard a White House considering a pardon was 2016, when the very same Attorney General who once charged me conceded that, on balance, my work in exposing the NSA's unconstitutional system of mass surveillance had been "a public service." nypost.com/2020/08/13/trump-…

8 years ago, I got fired as President and co-founder of @udemy, a now-$2B unicorn
This is a tough story to share, and I’ll try my best to be honest
Fortunately this story ends on a positive note & I hope it’ll be useful to anyone who’s been laid off or fired.

A lesson I have learned many times in my 20 years as a marketplace investor is that aggregating demand is the one & only key. Aggregating supply is not the hard part, & having differentiated supply or thinking because you own supply you can enter the market is misplaced thinking.

1/ I may be repeating myself, but I want to fight this sense of security that I see outside of the epicenters, as if nothing was going to happen "here". The media in Europe are reassuring, politicians are reassuring, while there's little to be reassured of. #COVID19 #coronavirus

We studied a number of ML/AI companies.
Tl;dr while it’s early days they tend to have different margin, scaling and defensibility properties from traditional software.
We draw from this to offer some thoughts on how to think about operating them.

9) Capital scarcity will help better founders and VCs because second tier founders and VCs simply start and fund copycat companies that generally lead to deteriorating unit economics for all companies in the space and more dilution for founders/early VCs.
