#MCSInnovators A5: I've learned to be ok with change. I even look forward to it. I took on Openclass as the sole guinea pig in my school (besides the ITF) then transitioned to Canvas. I share in my department and encourage others as they develop new tools/lessons.

A4 #MCSInnovators I think my first step is to actively reflect on my teaching. What have I done well? How can I further enhance those positive steps? Have honest conversations with my students. Ask them where I can improve. Admit failures. Seek help.

A3: #MCSInnovators I would risk throwing out "tried and true" classic literature if it meant reigniting a love of reading for my students. The majority of Ss hate it. I would love to be free to use high interest pieces to increase engagement.

A2 #MCSInnovators Innovation can be as simple as listing standards I want to cover & allowing students to develop the outcomes to demonstrate mastery. Innovation requires an atmosphere that allows for growth & improvement in teaching and learning.

A1 #MCSInnovators My school would evolve from student input. What has worked well for you in school, and what needed improvement. Students would be able to map their own interests and exempt out of demonstrated areas once skill levels were reached.
