Just Another Day's a series of fictional stories about life, death, love and the bonds between us. They're stories about our ongoing journey on Earth and the realms beyond; & our truest potential in the cosmos. One need only dream and anything is possible.

Today seemed like a good day to listen to some good old FM radio while trekking through the Fullerton Loop. I got started around 6:00 AM. There's still a few Halloween decorations out on the Juanita Cooke portion of the trail too. At least, I hope that's a Halloween decoration...

I didn't have my tripod today, but tried to capture a few shots during a short trek through one of Turnbull Canyon's trails this morning. I sat the camera on my backpack for the second shot. I've been staying active with fitness activities all week, so today was a bit exhausting.

As I made my way back to La Mirada Regional for my tennis practice, there was a radio promo about adopting Staffordshire Terriers. This was followed immediately after by a Britney Spears song. I thought that was funny because we used to have a Staffordshire Terrier named Britney.

Also, it was nice to have a feel good moment after that scary scene with Tifa. When Cloud received that card in the village about a pilot, I knew exactly who it was referring to and I was just waiting for his theme song to kick in.
I honestly can't recall if I ever used Cait Sith that much in the original Final Fantasy VII, but I'm going to try to make use of him more often in Rebirth. I'm just testing out his basic abilities here in the Corel Region. #NintendoSwitch2 #FinalFantasyVIIRebirth
My third attempt with Dyne. I learned quickly to keep my distance, but still struggled to keep my health up. I had his phase 2 attack pattern more or less down by the third attempt, tho. I had the option to bring in Titan but felt this was between Barret and Dyne and no one else.
Dyne really needs to chill out. He's such a loose cannon.

I completed the first Chocobo Cup last night. I was finally starting to get the hang of things toward the end. Looking forward to competing in the other cups once the party's allowed to return to Gold Saucer. Dicey stuff happened there. #NintendoSwitch2 #FinalFantasyVIIRebirth
My PC went down the other night. The heatsink fell off the CPU because a pin on one of the motherboard brackets broke off. PC started beeping like crazy, but before I could shut it down, it shut off on its own. A safety measure to prevent the CPU from overheating.
I came to realize yesterday that the thermal compound was mostly dried up on the CPU, so I applied some fresh compound and just rested the heatsink on top of the CPU. I was curious to see if the thing would post, and sure enough, I was able to get it into the BIOS just fine...
Yesterday morning, I trekked up the Fullerton water tower trail before my tennis session at La Mirada Regional Park. I managed to get such an early start, I figured I could work a good hike into my morning schedule. The lookout point at the top has these nice rocks to sit on.
Here's another story from Darlene Allor's middle school class. I call this one Dante's Inferno. I am trying to recall more stories for a tribute I've been meaning to write for her. She passed a few years back. Most of my memories seem to be non-classroom related things, though...

Since I've been trying to write down a few thoughts about other Squaresoft games this week, I thought I might flesh out a few thoughts about the very first Squaresoft game I ever played. Rad Racer.
This is running a bit longer than I had anticipated.

How is everyone this week?
I've been continuing my playthrough of FF7 Rebirth on the Switch 2. Just arrived at the Gold Saucer this evening.
