Great question! - intentionality. meditation. introspection. Why do I say that? Is that a good thing to say? Iterate - watch storytelling standup comedy. Think of storytellers you like, dissect the why - pause more. Squeeze pauses. Why does the pause exist - map out the story arc
Other than toastmasters, how did you improve your stage presentation and story telling skills. I need to: - remove the “uhms” - speak a little slower - speak more deliberately (sometimes I reword my sentence midway through it 🥹)

Book recommendations from last #NDCSydney session this year. All about giving feedback except the one at the end, about receiving it I read the first 3 from the right & I know I need to read them again! Nonviolent Communication has a special place in my heart Thanks @mightymuke

Every so often I see a Twitter thread where a new manager asks for advice, and inevitably, someone in the comments below says something to the effect of, "hire awesome people, listen to them and get out of their way" Let me tell ya, this is not advice. It's wishful thinking

#TheOrville is quietly becoming one of the best sci-fi shows out there. Really using the genre to make you think and challenge your views.
