Yep and Aaron truly believed the calf was them worshipping God. Guess what happened?
I never said Jesus condemned all tradition. What I asked was what does Jesus use as the measuring stick for tradition. Here are the actual questions I asked (Grok removed so as not to repeat answers)
✅ does Jesus ever condemn faulty human traditions that nullify Scripture? If yes, then please clarify if Jesus condemns traditions that nullify God’s word, then what is the measuring stick that determines whether a tradition nullifies God’s word or not?
✅ and these oral traditions were considered at the time to be divinely inspired and infallible by the Pharisees as they were passed down by the temple fathers (“traditions of the elders”), correct?
Paul and the apostles are clear what they are referring to when they speak about traditions. All you have to do is read in context. Super easy. What Paul is referring to is what they BOTH spoke orally and then LATER wrote down. It’s the SAME truths. What the apostles first spoke, they later wrote down. That’s why Paul says both. Whether you heard us say or when we wrote it down. Hold fast to those truths. They are the SAME. In fact Paul even shows this to you.
Phil 3:1 - “Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To WRITE the 👉SAME THINGS👈 to you is no trouble to me and is safe for you.”
2 Thess 2:15 - “So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either 👉by our spoken word OR by our letter.👈”
2 Thess 3:14: - “If anyone does not obey what we say 👉in this letter👈, take note of that person, and have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed.”
Paul literally tells you this.
2 Thess 3:10 - “For EVEN when we were with you, we would give you THIS command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.”
Paul explicitly refers to a command he previously delivered orally, which he is NOW repeating in writing.
What they orally spoke they wrote down. Why? So that we would have CERTAINTY.
Luke 1:3–4 - “It seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, 👉to WRITE an orderly account👈 for you, most excellent Theophilus, 👉that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught👈.”
John 20:30–31 - “Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 👉but these are WRITTEN so that you may believe👈 that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.”
1 John 5:13 - “I WRITE these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, 👉that you may know👈 that you have eternal life.”
1 Tim 3:14–15 - “…but I am WRITING these things to you so that, if I delay, 👉you may know👈 how one ought to behave in the household of God,…”
2 Pet 3:1–2 - “…I am WRITING to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, 👉that you should remember👈 ...”
1 Cor 10:11 - “Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were WRITTEN down for our instruction,...”
These establish that apostolic teaching was committed to WRITING for CERTAINTY, faith, assurance, instruction, and remembrance.
It gets better. You are repeating Rome rhetoric about succession.
Irenaeus however did not argue that an unbroken list of bishops, by itself, established doctrinal truth.
His argument joined two things:
✅ Succession of office: A traceable succession back to the apostles (Against Heresies, III.3.1).
✅ Succession of doctrine: Faithful preservation of the apostles' actual teaching, without additions or corruption FOUND IN SCRIPTURE (Against Heresies, IV.33.8).
IRENAEUS: “We have known the method of our salvation by no other means than those by whom the gospel came to us; which gospel they truly preached; BUT AFTERWARD, by the will of God, they delivered to us in the SCRIPTURES, to be for the future the foundation and pillar of our faith,”

This is always what Catholics do when they can't handle the truth. They resort to platform manipulation and targeted campaigns against your account. Report this clown for targeted harassment and platform manipulation.

I hope the folks at Lakepointe know they shouldn’t feel guilty for not wanting to sell their home or liquidate their savings, investments, or other valuable assets to fund Josh Howerton’s Into the Breach campaign.
You shouldn’t have to justify keeping your home by turning it into a ministry opportunity. Making people feel guilty for not surrendering their personal assets is manipulation, not discipleship.

“One of the worst calls in the history of football”
Dave is LIVID
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The call was kick-catch interference per NCAA rules, as a valid fair catch signal gives the receiver an unimpeded opportunity to catch even after muffing the punt until the ball touches the ground.
