Greenland remains a self-governing territory of Denmark and was not given to the United States. A September 2026 security agreement expands US military cooperation but reaffirms Danish sovereignty over the island.

There is no “Them” side. It’s Not a holy war, it’s an election where a political party that has failed its voters with bad policies will face democracy. Yes. Go vote!
I watched them kill Charlie Kirk and celebrate it. I watched them shoot our President in the head and celebrate it.
I watched them kill Trump supporters and celebrate it. If they can shoot Charlie and Trump — what will they do to you and your family? This is not a political battle, it’s a spiritual one. We are fighting good vs. evil. Darkness vs. light. Be on the side of life. God help us, we must win. Vote.
There’s a term for this: fake news. 🙄

This headline is so sensational and misleading and embarrassing for the CBC. You’re Canada’s taxpayer-funded public broadcaster for god’s sake, exercise some judgement.

Was just watching the Trump “closing message” on TV. Unbelievably it was a low-energy rant about debunked vandalism and construction quality. Whose priorities are these?? Completely out of touch.
Yikes. Surely his agent is somewhat responsible too. The “it’s never about the money…” talk always comes back to “they didn’t offer me enough money.” That both sides are here now is a failure on both sides.

Seems to me the current CPC leader could/should have learned more from Harper.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s new book comes out tomorrow. Below is an excerpt recounting one of the most important moments—perhaps the most important—of my more than a decade working alongside him: the recognition of the Québécois as a nation within a united Canada.
This headline brings me back to an evening I will never forget. As Stephen Harper’s press secretary and Senior Quebec advisor, I brought him the Bloc’s motion at about 6 pm that Tuesday evening. His response would affirm that recognition of the Québécois and an unwavering commitment to Canadian unity belonged together. I remain grateful to have played a small part in that moment in our country’s history.
Framed in my office are the original pages of the speech I drafted and Prime Minister Harper worked through the night to perfect. He delivered it in the House of Commons on November 22, 2006, affirming the Québécois as a nation within a united Canada.
Michael Ignatieff reopened the nation debate during the Liberal leadership race.
The Bloc seized the opening with a motion recognizing Quebecers as a nation.
Harper saw the risk of dividing federalists and reviving old constitutional battles.
He moved quickly and took control of the debate.
His motion recognized the Québécois as a nation “within a united Canada.”
Those four words turned the motion into an affirmation of Canadian unity.
The Liberals and NDP backed him, while Gilles Duceppe came out swinging.
Within twenty-four hours, the Bloc reversed course.
Harper stood by the recognition, even at the cost of cabinet minister Michael Chong’s resignation.
We had less than 24 hours to decide how to respond, amid mounting pressure to vote against this historic recognition.
The vote was on Monday, November 27, 2006, five days after Prime Minister Harper introduced his motion on November 22.
The motion passed with only sixteen MPs opposed.

The GOP would have screamed for 4 years had Biden, Clinton or Obama whiffed that. Right;y so. MAGA: “I didn’t hear that, I have been too busy.” “Everyone knows what the Boss meant.” “He has done 130 rallies in 4 days.” “Trump is right, that Ho Chi city should have been nuked…”
