Doug Ford supports Bradford, that's all you need to know. One of them is enough, two would be a disaster for Toronto.

And: a mayor who directly supports destruction of the limited safe traffic infrastructure that we have is undermining safety for all. No other major city with aspirations to offer their citizens a decent quality of life is taking this route xitter.cf/mindoverdata/status/21…

Dear Torontonians,
Have we not learned from having Doug Ford as our Premier?
We cannot let Brad Bradford win this mayoral election.
Please vote accordingly.
Sincerely,
A concerned Torontonian ❤️

Two ways to genuinely keep kids safe on their way to school:
Speed cameras, which this government outlawed.
Bike lanes, which this government is ripping out.
Every parent wants to know their child is safe on their way to and from school. It's a peace of mind we want for every student, in every community.
From kindergarten to high school, student safety is everyone's responsibility.
This School Bus Safety Week, I remind all drivers to slow down, stay alert and take extra care around school buses and school zones throughout the school year.

This morning, environmental titan David Suzuki joined me in speaking about the risks to our safety and pocketbooks that come with Bradford’s proposal to privatize our water.
I’m grateful to have David’s support. His decades of leadership on the environment remind us that protecting our water means protecting our communities and our environment for future generations.
Our water should never be for sale.

Many of the schools on Bloor Street have students older than 10. How will they safely get to school on their bikes?

These 32 #BloodBikes commemorate the 32 people killed on Bloor, Yonge & University in 20-years before bike lanes were built.
After bike lanes were installed only one tragic loss of life has occurred in 6-years since 2020.
Bike lanes keep EVERYONE save, not only people cycling.

Speed limits on local roads and laneways across Toronto will soon have speed limits of 30 km/h as part of the City's Vision Zero Road Safety Plan.
The goal is to reduce the risk of serious collisions and create safer neighbourhood streets for everyone. This work is being implemented on a ward-by-ward basis and will continue through 2028.

If 905ers don't like bike lanes and Torontonians do - simple answer to the 905: take the GO or pay a congestion tax like other cities if they want to clog our streets with their cars...
Nearly two-thirds, 62 per cent, of Torontonians say they support the province turning bike lanes back into motor vehicle lanes on major Toronto streets, according to a new poll.

Ahem.
For those who may be unaware, Montreal is a cold *winter* city. Colder and snowier than Toronto.
And it now ranks 2nd among the world’s best cycling cities.
So don't even.
