i highly recommend zoe as a general-purpose combat pal. she dodge-rolls attacks so she's shockingly hard to kill, gets a fantastic attack stat if you specialize her in it (invasive surgery helps) and switches to her gun when her moves are on cooldown for crazy high sustained DPS

Palworld Quick Tip! How to Farm the Legendary Fishing Rod (Depresso)!
- Get a water mount. I recommend Neptilius near coordinates 142, 655.
- Catch Jellroy at Phantom Isle (-897, -192). Put it in your party, its Partner Skill will increase salvage yields (condense them for maximum effect).
- Craft a Fishing Rod and Powerful Fishing Magnets (Tech Level 62).
- Ride your Water Pal around Neptilius Island waters and farm salvage spots.
- This method also nets you tons of Coralum Ore for progression
- Enjoy!
