And Affleck's Batman is far too murder-y to get along with T'Challa. Steve is a way better fit. If only we could have Christian Bale's Batman instead 😩

10. In addition to the Warriors Three, I also adore Lady Sif. Why didn’t they just include her and call it the Warriors Four? Lmao! Anyway, Sif kicks ass in this movie - and every other time she’s onscreen in the MCU.

18. I totally forgot that in the end of this film, Thor smashes the Rainbow Bridge to pieces, dsabling the BiFrost to stop Loki. Now he doesn’t know if he will ever see his beloved Jane again & the Asgardians are stuck there for the foreseeable future. Helluva plot twist!

Final Thoughts: Thor was a solid MCU movir and still holds up, thanks to a strong cast, plus good writing and a great job done by Kevin Feige and director Kenneth Branagh. Well done all around 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I’m rewatching all of the Marvel movies and shows in release date order to get ready for Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts* in 2025… Here’s my feedback after watching Thor (2011)

9. The Warriors Three are some of my favourite Asgardians. RIP to Hogun The Grim, Fandral The Dashing and Volstagg The Enormous, cause we all know they they won’t make it past Thor Ragnarok, but at least I get to enjoy their hijinks until then 😰

8. Every time Heimdall comes onscreen it’s a good time! Sometimes he’s funny. Sometimes he’s serious AF. Idris Elba kills it as Heindall both ways. I always felt this character was underutilised though tbh. Wish they did more with him in the MCU *sigh*
