I'm waiting for the final dates to be confirmed before I get out on the ground and start the campaign.
I'll be campaigning in an area where I grew up. The community matters to me, and I'm looking forward to getting out there, meeting residents and listening to their concerns.
My priorities are clear:
- Safer, cleaner streets.
- Opposing asylum accommodation.
- Stronger action on antisocial behaviour.
- Regenerating neglected properties and improving our local area.
It's time to focus on the issues that matter to residents and businesses.

The Home Office’s “Earned Settlement” is still a pathetic betrayal.
Illegal boat crossers should never set one foot on this land. Detain them the second they land and deport them on the next plane — no 30-year queue, no appeals, no settlement pathway of any kind.
Handing any route to people who broke in while British citizens get shafted on housing, the NHS, and wages is an absolute disgrace. Zero tolerance. No exceptions. 🙄
Under the Earned Settlement model set out before Parliament today, the right to live in the UK permanently will no longer be granted automatically after five years.
Instead, it will be earned.
Under the reforms:
➡️The standard route to settlement will double from five to 10 years
➡️ People who enter illegally, including by small boat, face a wait of up to 30 years to settle
➡️ Care workers who meet the visa requirements will retain a five-year route
➡️ Higher earners on more than £50,000, skilled public service workers and refugees arriving on safe and legal routes will be able to settle in five years
➡️ Migrants who claim benefits face a 20-year wait for settlement
➡️ Migrants with a criminal record will be prevented from settling in the UK
➡️ Migrants will be required to meet A-level standard English to settle in the UK
