Most people grab beef jerky thinking theyāre making a smart choice.
Flip it over and read the label.
Brown sugar, sodium nitrate, artificial flavorsā¦None of that belongs in a ācleanā snack.
What I keep on hand instead: the Carnivore Bar. Three ingredients. Grass-fed beef, tallow, salt. Fills you up and nothing in it youād want to avoid.

CONNEQT CEO Craig Cooper discussed the longevity risk youāre not measuring on the Primal Shift Podcast.

Itās incredible how much our bodies can transform based on the choices we make. Looking back, my own journey is a testament to that. In my 20s, I was a pro athlete who thrived on performance, but my dietāa typical Western dietāwas far from optimal. It didnāt matter then, because I could out-train my bad choices. Or so I thought.
By my 30s, the cracks started to show. I wasnāt a professional athlete anymore, and my lifestyle caught up with me. I was sluggish, tired all the time, and my waistline reflected it. I didnāt just gain weightāI lost vitality. The energy and focus I took for granted in my 20s were gone. Thatās when I realized something had to change.
The answer? An Animal-Based diet.
I shifted to an animal-based approach, focusing on foods packed with bioavailable nutrientsāgrass-fed beef, organ meats, raw dairy, and the occasional seasonal fruit. I cut out inflammatory junk like seed oils, processed carbs, and foods that didnāt serve my health. The results were transformative.
Now in my 40s, I can confidently say Iām in the best shape of my lifeānot just physically, but mentally. My energy is stable, my focus sharp, and my sleep restorative. My diet fuels my workouts, supports my recovery, and keeps my immune system strong.

Your gut doesnāt want a kale smoothie; it wants nutrient-dense, easy-to-digest foods. Eggs and steak deliver what your body craves without the bloating or defense chemicals. Simple, effective, and satisfying.
